Operatives of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) attached to the Critical National Assets and Infrastructure Department in Kano State have arrested a 35-year-old man, Muhammad Munzali of Kaura Gidan Damo, Shanono Local Govt Area while sneaking into a female hostel.
The Public Relations Officer of the command, SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, made this known in a statement on Friday, March 15, 2024.
According to Abdullahi, the suspect was apprehended around 10pm on Wednesday, March 13, by vigilant officers of the corps while sneaking into the female hostel of Skyline University Nigeria situated along Sardauna Crescent, Nasarawa GRA, Kano.
“The suspect was disguised and dressed in women’s garb and was found with local charms around his body,” he stated.
Abdullahi said the investigation was on to unravel the motive of his intrusion into the private university’s female hostel.
“The State Commandant, NSCDC Kano Command, Mohammed Falala, had recently, in a strategic meeting with management, charged officers and men of the command to be extra vigilant,” he added.
