Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag has provided an update on Marcus Rashford who appeared to have been injured during their 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
The England forward was subbed off after he took what looked like an elbow to the chest.
Rashford put the Red Devils in front after just six minutes in the semi-final first-leg clash.
He was, however, replaced after 57 minutes, with Ten Hag deciding to give the England international some rest and bring on Alejandro Garnacho.
Asked about the decision to remove Marcus Rashford from the game and about the elbow incident, Ten Hag insisted that Rashford was okay.
“We had already planned the substitute,” he told Sky Sports.
“Marcus Rashford did his job and scored another goal so we were in a good position.
“Alejandro Garnacho is really hungry to play games and to get minutes and to come into the team,” he said.
