Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes has suggested that ‘confidence’ has been forward Jadon Sancho’s problem at the club.
Sancho enjoyed a morale-boosting return to Manchester United on Wednesday night, scoring a goal as Man United drew 2-2 against Leeds United in a Premier League tie at Old Trafford.
However, Fernandes says it is the confidence that has been the England star’s problem in recent months.
“Hopefully, that will give him [Jadon Sancho] confidence and a boost for the future because we know how good Jadon can be,” Fernandes said in his post-match interview.
“We just need him with full confidence to give his best for the team.”
“At this stadium, with the desire and the passion we have, 2-0 can’t happen, but it should not be a problem.
“Massive appreciation for the fans, they pushed us at the end and we could have won,” he added.
