Chelsea interim boss, Frank Lampard has identified midfielder Enzo Fernandez as the Blues player he is really impressed with this season.
Lampard also hailed Fernandez for his attitude to training and games for Chelsea, adding that the Argentina World Cup winner is learning fast.
Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League tie with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Thursday, Lampard said, “With Enzo, I have been really impressed with him as a player, his attitude to training, his attitude to games and his determination.
“There is something about him. He doesn’t speak the language much at all, but he’s learning fast. I have got a lot of faith that Enzo will be a big part of what happens in the future of this club.”
Fernandez became the most expensive footballer in Premier League history when he joined Chelsea from Benfica in a £106million deal in January.
