Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey’s preference is to remain in Europe and join Serie A giants Juventus, despite interest from the Saudi Pro League (SPL).
This was disclosed by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Thursday.
Romano claimed that Partey, 30, desires a move to Juventus this summer rather than head to Saudi Arabia.
He tweeted, “Understand Thomas Partey considers Juventus a priority, he hopes to stay in Europe — talks will follow as there is still no official proposal..”
Partey was a key member of the Arsenal team that missed out on the 2022/23 Premier League title to Manchester City.
The midfielder joined Arsenal from Atletico Madrid in 2020.
