Jigawa Government has declared Friday, June 30, as work-free day to enable civil servants conclude the Eid-el-Kabir festivities.

This is contained in a statement issued on Tuesday in Dutse by the State Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali-Kila.

The government enjoined the civil servants and other Muslims to pray for the growth and development of the state.

“It is our hope that the prayers and sacrifices will bring about peace, unity and progress in the state and Nigeria in general.”

It was reported that Muslims across the globe will celebrate the Eid-el-kabir on June 28.
