Veteran rapper Ruggedman, is expanding his portfolio to include skit making.
In a recent interview with Hip TV, he revealed that he started his career as an actor, playing minor roles in some movies before rising to fame as a rapper.
Ruggedman shared that he created a character called ‘Mazi Kalu,’ an Igbo old man with problems who also attempts to solve them.
He expressed his passion for acting, having participated in movies like Francis Agu’s films and Toyin Abraham’s ‘The Ghost and the Tout’ and Jim Iyke’s ‘Bad Comments.’
Now, Ruggedman is taking his skits and the ‘Mazi Kalu’ character seriously, planning to promote this aspect of his talent more actively. His skits will entertain and educate viewers with a mix of humor and valuable lessons.
