Many residents escaped death in Iseyin in the Oke Ogun geo-political zone of Oyo State when a truck rammed into houses in the town on Sunday afternoon.
NEWSUNPLUG gathered that the truck, carrying bags of cement, lost control which led to the incident.
Some shops in the area were also affected as properties worth millions of naira were destroyed.
The driver of the truck and his apprentice fled after the accident.
The whereabouts of the duo have not been revealed at the time of filing this report.
