LaLiga club, Sevilla have confirmed that Nigerian star, Chidera Ejuke will be sidelined with a high-grade hamstring injury, DAILY POST reports.

The Nigeria international is expected to be out of action for about three months due to the setback.

Ejuke sustained the injury in Sevilla’s 5-1 defeat against Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Sunday.

The 26-year-old was replaced by Albert Sambi Lokonga late in the first half.

The winger underwent test on Monday and Sevilla revealed the nature of the injury in an X post.

“Ejuke has suffered a high-grade hamstring injury while Suso has suffered a low-grade thigh injury.
Come back stronger, lads.”

The former Royal Antwerp player has scored one goal in nine appearances for Sevilla this season.
