El-Kanemi Warriors recorded a stunning 2-1 win against their hosts Nasarawa United at New Jos Stadium on Saturday night.
It is the Maiduguri club’s second win in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.
Ugochukwu Ajah gave El-Kanemi the lead in the 27th minute.
The home team fought back and got the equaliser from the penalty spot through James Isaac 10 minutes later.
Jacob Jonathan silenced the home fans by netting the winning goal one minute from regulation time.
El-Kanemi remain in last position on the Group A table despite the win with Nasarawa United in ninth position.
Eighth matchday 12 games will be played on Sunday across different centres.
