Irv Gotti, the famous American music producer, has passed away at the age of 54.
Gotti died in New York City on Wednesday after months of battling a stroke.
NEWSUNPLUG reports that the record producer was admitted to a recovery centre in August 2024 and had to walk with the aid of a cane.
He was said to have lost a significant amount of weight following his battle with diabetes complications, which led to a minor stroke last year.
Irv Gotti made a name for himself as an A&R executive at Def Jam, launching the careers of hip-hop stars like Jay-Z, Ja Rule, and DMX.
