Manchester United legend Gary Neville has advised Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta to replace the injured Bukayo Saka with Noni Madueke in his starting XI.

Saka will miss Arsenal’s Premier League away clash with Liverpool at Anfield next weekend after sustaining an injury during the Gunners’ 5-0 victory over Leeds United.

Neville believes Madueke, who joined Arsenal from Chelsea, should switch flanks and start in Saka’s position on Sunday against Arne Slot’s side.

“For me, Eze is going to come in on that left-hand side and I think [Viktor] Gyokeres is going to play up front,” Neville told Sky Sports.

“I actually thought the minute that Saka went off and Madueke went to the right-hand side that all of a sudden he [Madueke] looked at home.

“So you will have Madueke, I think on the right, you will have Gyokeres up front and I think you will have Eze to the left.”
