Media personality Shade Ladipo has issued a public apology to singer Tiwa Savage over comments she made following the leak of the singer’s private video in 2021.
Back then, Ladipo had harshly criticized Tiwa, but in a recent post, she admitted her reaction was unfair and misplaced. She confessed to being among those who condemned the singer at the time and expressed regret for judging her harshly.
Ladipo explained that while she initially blamed Tiwa for the incident, she has since realized her words were wrong and felt the need to apologize openly.
She said: “I was one of the people who blasted Tiwa Savage when that s3x tape came out. I’ll be honest. I blamed her. I was like, you know what? How can you be over 40? Cause we are mates and you’re still messing around with people like this.
“In hindsight, I wonder why I was blaming her so hard for something that happened to her.
“I felt her pain. And I just want to say to you, I love you. I’m sorry!”

In a recent Instagram post, Neo revealed that he was unexpectedly chosen as the winner of the MTV Base trivia contest, A Day with Don Jazzy, a decade ago.
The prize was an all-expense-paid trip to South Africa alongside Don Jazzy and the Mavin Records team. However, Neo, who was then studying at the University of Calabar, could not embark on the trip because of his final examinations.
As an alternative, he was flown to Lagos, where he met Don Jazzy in person and received ₦500,000 as compensation an experience he described as a turning point that reignited his ambitions.
“That single encounter made me believe I could truly be whoever I wanted to be,” Neo wrote. “It reignited a fire in me that no circumstance could put out. Today, a decade later, I look back with so much gratitude. To Don Jazzy, who without even knowing, re-inspired my dreams thank you. To God, who has kept every promise He made to me thank you. I am a living testimony that when grace speaks, destiny listens.”
Reacting to the post, Don Jazzy praised Neo, writing: “Bro GOD got you. You are destined for greatness. Everybody I know that knows you always has amazing things to say about you. Makes me happy and I’m proud to have a line or two in your book. More blessings ahead.”
