Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has received an outpouring of congratulations from fans and colleagues following the renovation of her business, which was gutted by fire in July.
Above all, she thanked God for sparing lives, stressing that the devil tested her, but divine mercy prevailed.
On Saturday evening, the actress returned to Instagram with a video showcasing her newly renovated business. With joy and relief, she wrote: “Thank you Lord, to you be all the glory.”
Controversy after the fire
The incident had sparked heated reactions, with some men in Lagos taking to the streets chanting curses against her in connection with the death of late singer Mohbad.
Addressing the issue, Iyabo clarified that she never accused anyone of being directly responsible for Mohbad’s death. She lamented how certain individuals have, over the years, openly wished her dead, called for the destruction of her livelihood, and targeted her children, all without intervention from authorities.
Support from fans and colleagues
Despite the challenges, Iyabo continues to receive love and encouragement from her peers and fans. Her best friend, actress Lola Alao, described her as a kind-hearted and generous soul who often puts aside her own problems to fight for others.
