Nigerian comedian and actor Bovi Ugboma is celebrating his wife, Kris Asimonye, as she turns a new age today.
Taking to his Instagram page to share photos of the celebrant, Bovi described his wife as his biggest win since inception. Calling her the love of his life, he stated that his wife is the tree that shades him from the sun.
“My biggest win since inception turns a year older today.
Happy birthday to the love of my life! @krisasimonye, the tree that shades me from the sun”.
On her birthday, last year, her birthday, Bovi described her as his chosen as he revealed that without her, he would have been withered.
To celebrate her birthday, the comedian had gifted her a brand-new Mercedes-Benz. Sharing the good news, Kris expressed excitement at how her birthday gift came early as a brand new baby. She revealed that her husband had promised her a new car if she passed her driving test, which she did.
Bovi got married in 2009 to Kris Asimonye Ugboma.
In an interview last year, Bovi shared his secret to staying married, revealing that he was just lucky, as he believes most marriages have to do with luck before any planning comes into play. The comedian noted that there is no perfect marriage, but perfection comes from loving the imperfections
In a past interview, he said he always knew he would marry a fine woman, and was lucky as his wife was similar to his mother. Bovi, also stated that he never planned to have three children, adding that he wanted to have just a child. Now the couple is blessed with three children.
In 2023, the couple renewed their vows to celebrate their anniversary. The couple renewed their vows on water, with mariners as officiating ministers. The video from the renewal caused a stir online, with many nicknaming the couple Mr and Mrs Mariners.
