Barcelona will be without Raphinha when they take on Real Madrid in the first El Clasico of the season on Sunday.

ESPN reports that Raphinha has suffered a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury.

The 28-year-old has not played since September 25, when Barca won at Real Oviedo.

The Brazilian forward returned to training this week and was expected to be named on the substitutes’ bench at the Bernabéu.

However, he suffered some discomfort during training on Friday.

It could be another few weeks before the Brazil international is back in action.

Madrid go into the game two points clear of Barcelona. Last season, the Catalans won all four fixtures between the two teams.
