Details of Juventus’ deal for former Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti have been revealed.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Spalletti has agreed to become the new Juventus manager.
Verbal agreement between both parties has been reached, and Spalletti will sign a contract until June 2026, plus an option to extend based on a Champions League spot to reach this season.
Formal contracts are currently being checked by lawyers before signing all documents by both parties.
This is coming after Juventus recently dismissed former manager Igor Tudor after an eight-match winless run.
Spalletti last coached the Italy national men’s football team, and he was replaced by Gennaro Gattuso.
The 66-year-old coached the likes of AS Roma, Napoli, Inter Milan, Udinese, Empoli and Sampdoria in the past.
