FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup: Quarter-final Fixtures Confirmed

The quarter-final fixtures of the ongoing FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco have been confirmed.

This follows the conclusion of the Round of 16 fixtures played on Wednesday.

NEWSUNPLUG reports that Canada thrashed Zambia 6-0 to progress to the quarter-final stage.

Japan also defeated Colombia 4-0, while Mexico won 1-0 against Paraguay.

France defeated Spain 5-4 on penalty shoot-out to qualify for the last-8 following a 0-0 draw.

The quarter-final fixtures will take place on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

No African country made it to the quarter-final stage as Nigeria, Morocco and Zambia were all eliminated in the Round of 16 stage.
