Fans have rallied in prayer for gospel singers Bunmi Akinnaanu and Omije Ojumi following an Instagram post by their colleague, Sarah Apekeola.
A few weeks back, a video surfaced showing Omije Ojumi at what appeared to be a healing crusade, unable to walk and with a plaster on her hand, indicating she had been receiving medical care. The clip raised concern among her fans.
In her post, Sarah Apekeola referred to Omije Ojumi as her sister and called for support. She described her as a resilient woman and prayed that the God who called her would continue to uphold her.
Sarah reminisced about how Omije Ojumi’s laughter and voice could brighten any space, emphasizing that her post was a sincere appeal to fans and well-wishers. She prayed that evil forces would not prevail over the singer and urged friends and family to assist her.
To support the recovery efforts, Sarah shared Omije Ojumi’s account details, encouraging people to pray for her and share the post widely. She noted that any contributions would help Omije Ojumi regain her health and strength, wishing her a swift and complete recovery.
This development comes in the wake of last year’s loss of gospel artist Aduke Gold, who battled cancer privately before her passing, with her family revealing the struggle only after her death.
