Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has sparked fresh tension online after claiming he has a videotape showing how the late singer Mohbad was killed.
In a post on his Instagram page, Yomi stated that the disturbing clip was allegedly sent to him by Mohbad’s younger brother, who reportedly wanted to use it to demand money from him.
In his words, he said:
“I am putting my life on the line to make sure justice is done, this video proves what really happened, and it cannot be ignored, I will not stay silent while the truth is hidden and that responsible go unpunished.”
The actor said the video contains what he described as “murder evidence and confession,” and he has called on President Bola Tinubu to step in immediately to ensure justice is served.
“They want to silence me and use the video against you in the next election, your excellency, look into this matter. I don’t know why it is suddenly wrong to be loyal to your government. They want to use it against you in the next election, your excellency, please look into this matter,” he added.
Yomi also highlighted the importance of accountability, naming Wunmi Cynthia and others as suspects, and insisted that justice must not be delayed, no one should be above the law, and every Nigerian deserves to see that the system works for everyone.
Yomi Fabiyi’s explosive claim has reignited public interest in Mohbad’s controversial death, leaving Nigerians to wonder whether this new “evidence” will finally push the case forward or trigger another wave of confusion.
