Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi is on the radar of Bundesliga club Werder Bremen, DAILY POST reports.

Awoniyi has struggled for minutes at Forest this season following the arrival of Igor Jesus.

The Nigeria international is behind Jesus and Chris Wood in the pecking order.

The 28-year-old has managed just four league appearances for the Tricky Trees this season.

According to Africafoot, Werder Bremen are ready to sign the forward in January.

Forest are also willing to let him leave if they receive a suitable offer.

Two Premier League clubs and several Championship clubs are also reportedly interested in Awoniyi
