Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has revealed his favourite goal of his football career.
Yamal has been a revelation in the sport since he broke into Barcelona’s first team under former manager Xavi.
The Spain international finished in second position in the 2025 Ballon d’Or rankings behind the winner, Ousmame Dembele.
The 18-year-old, however, won the last two editions of the Kopa Trophy for the best young player in the world.
Speaking about the favourite goal, Yamal picked the goal he scored against France in the 2024 Euro semi-final tie.
Recall that a goal from Yamal and Dani Olmo gave Spain a 2-1 win against France.
“I have 3 or 4 favorite goals,” Yamal was quoted by TouchlineX as saying (via 60 Minutes of CBS News).
“But if I had to choose one goal, I think in terms of importance and beauty, it’s the goal I scored against France in the EURO.”
