Former Manchester City defender, Micah Richards has insisted that Chelsea don’t have enough to challenge Arsenal for the Premier League title this season.
Richards, however, believes Manchester City will be the team to challenge the Gunners until the end of the season.
On The Rest Is Football, Richards stated, “I think Chelsea can challenge Arsenal, but I don’t think they will have enough.
“I think Man City are still the ones who can challenge them all the way, even though they are conceding easy goals for their standards.
“I say that because they have got someone like [Erling] Haaland, who did not score against Leeds, but [Phil] Foden stepped up.”
Man City trails Arsenal by five points, with the Gunners leading the Premier League table after 13 games.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are six points behind Mikel Arteta’s side and one point behind the Cityzens.
