Former Chelsea captain, John Terry, has hit out at the current squad following a 3-1 defeat to Leeds United in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
Jaka Bijol and Ao Tanaka put the hosts two goals up at halftime, before Pedro Neto pulled one back after the break.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin took the game beyond Chelsea after he pounced on a defensive error to seal victory.
The result leaves Enzo Maresca’s men nine points behind table toppers Arsenal.
“You either go there and match them or you take the sting out of it completely, and by the looks of it, we certainly didn’t do that in the first half,” Terry said in a video posted on TikTok.
“We cannot follow up two unbelievable performances with a performance like that. It’s certainly not going to make you title contenders.”
