Nigerian striker, Paul Onuachu has spoken tough ahead of Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, tie with Tunisia on Saturday night.

Onuachu stated that the Super Eagles will aim to clinch the AFCON title in Morocco after their runner-up finish in the last edition.

In his pre-match interview, the Trabzonspor attacker emphasized Nigeria’s stature as a significant footballing nation in Africa.

“Nigeria is a big country. Of course, Tunisia is also a football nation, but I think we’ve good players and a good squad to really take it to the next level,” Onuachu said.

“I think there are a lot of strong teams. I am not going to say Saturday’s game with me for the content. Even already coming here, we’ve it in the back of our mind that we’re here to win the AFCON.”

The winner between Nigeria and Tunisia will go top of Group C with six points from two games.
