Yobe Desert Stars FC has officially unveiled Coach Patrick Bassey as their new Technical Adviser, ahead of the second stanza of the 2026 Nigeria National League (NNL26) season.
According to the management of the club, the appointment of Bassey as Technical Adviser was part of the strategy to reorganise the team for better performance.
“Patrick Bassey is known for his disciplined approach and experience with young players.
“The team is focusing on intense training, tactical planning, and squad consolidation to improve their competitiveness after the mid-season break, aiming to achieve results that reflect their ambitions and fan support,” it said.
The appointment is also expected to strengthen the team’s technical capacity as the club intensifies preparations for the upcoming phase of the league.
