The Edo State Sports Commission has praised the impact of Kennedy Boboye in transforming Bendel Insurance.
The Benin Arsenals are unbeaten in their last nine games.
Insurance moved to sixth position on the log following Sunday’s 3-2 win over El-kanemi Warriors.
Chairman of the commission, Desmond Enabulele commended the players for their character and resilience throughout the encounter.
“To recover from an early setback and still find the courage to respond, dominate, and win speaks volumes about the winning mentality Coach Kennedy Boboye has instilled in this team.” Enabulele told the commission media.
“This victory is not just about the three points; it is about belief, character, and the true Edo spirit of resilience.”
Boboye took charge of the Benin City club few games into the new season following the dismissal of Greg Ikhenoba.
