Nasarawa United forward, Jofrank Istifanus, has expressed satisfaction with the 2-1 win over Abia Warriors.
Istifanus scored the winning goal for Nasarawa United in the keenly contested encounter.
Chukwuemeka Obioma netted for Abia Warriors late in the first half, while substitute Habibu Alakija restored parity just after the break.
Istifanus revealed that they were highly motivated to get the victory.
“I feel amazing for the win. We have been having this thought of picking our first win in a league game here, and thank God we won,” Istifanus stated in a post-match interview.
“We are motivated by today’s win and hoping to maintain the momentum, going forward.”
Nasarawa United will trade tackles with Wikki Tourists in their next game in Bauchi.
