There have been reports linking Cole Palmer away from Chelsea since the arrival of Liam Rosenior at Stamford Bridge.
Liam Rosenior has cleared the air in his recent press conference ahead of the game against Napoli, stating that Cole Palmer is “very, very happy” at Chelsea and enjoying his time at Stamford Bridge, despite transfer rumours linking him with a possible return to Manchester, especially to Manchester United. He also described Palmer as a “huge part of our long-term plans” and dismissed talk of selling him as “unrealistic.”
The manager says speculation over a potential move came from nowhere and there’s no reason to think about a sale. Rosenior revealed that he’s had numerous conversations with the England international about his role and feelings and these discussions have reinforced that Palmer wants to stay and build something with Chelsea.
Palmer has been in an amazing form since he completed his move from Manchester City during the 2024 summer transfer window. However, Chelsea supporters will hope that the club can keep the English midfielder for a very long time at the capital.
How many goals have Cole Palmer scored for Chelsea?
