A lady has stirred online debate after accusing popular internet personality GehGeh of living a fake lifestyle on social media, following an encounter on a domestic flight.
In a viral video circulating online, the woman claimed that despite GehGeh’s frequent display of wealth on social media, he was spotted flying with a low-cost airline, which she described as “very cheap.”
“Everybody is living a fake life on social media. Guess who is on this flight with me? GehGeh,” she said. “Let me show you the airline, XE Jet. Very cheap airline. I’m not hiding it, ₦125,000. GehGeh that says he has houses and everything is the one riding cheap airlines. Everybody is fake.”
She further noted that peace of mind matters more than outward displays of wealth and advised people not to feel pressured by what they see online.
The video has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many users defending GehGeh, arguing that choosing a cheaper flight does not invalidate one’s financial status.
