Former Stoke City striker, Wilfried Bony has snubbed Chelsea legend Didier Drogba and named Manchester City legend Yaya Toure as the best teammate he ever played with.
Bony played with Drogba and Toure during their time together at the Ivory Coast football national team.
The 37-year-old also played with Toure during their time together at Manchester City, among other top players like David Silva and Sergio Aguero.
However, when asked to name the best player or teammate he ever played with, Bony simply mentioned Toure.
He said on the Obi One podcast, “I will choose Yaya Toure. I can imagine [Didier Drogba will not be happier].
“I am a striker, and I think Drogba is not going to choose me; he is going to choose all the players who can pass the ball to him, which I will understand because he is also a striker.
“Yaya Toure’s IQ [is good]. When you see him, he looks very slow, but when he decides to run, he looks like a machine, and when he gets his first five yards, it is finished. He is strong, fast and very clever.”
