Fresh developments have emerged in the ongoing legal battle involving billionaire businessman Linus Williams, popularly known as BLord, and social media personality VeryDarkMan.

According to reports circulating online, BLord’s request for an accelerated bail hearing has allegedly been denied, meaning he will remain in custody at Kuje Prison pending further proceedings.

The businessman had earlier been remanded for 26 days following his arraignment over allegations including impersonation, forgery, and criminal conspiracy.

Sources claim that his legal team, led by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), filed for an accelerated bail hearing in a bid to secure his early release. However, the request was reportedly turned down.

“BLORD’s file for ACCELERATED BAIL HEARING has been allegedly DENIED,” a circulating update stated.

The development means BLord is expected to spend the Easter period in detention as he awaits the next hearing date scheduled for April 27.

Further reports suggest that if the case is adjourned beyond that date, his stay in custody could be prolonged.

“If on the 27th the case is adjourned maybe to June, he will still remain in prison. Things are looking extremely bad for Blord,” the statement added.

Amid the ongoing situation, discussions online have intensified, with some suggesting that the case may largely depend on the stance of VeryDarkMan, who is central to the allegations.

“At this point only VDM can discontinue the case. There are more than 100 evidences that shows he impersonated VDM and forged documents,” the report claimed.
