Boca Juniors midfielder, Ander Herrera, has compared Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal to Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi.
According to the former Paris Saint-Germain star, there will be no player like Messi ever again, adding that Yamal is more focused on individual confrontations.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Herrera said, “Honestly, for me, a player like Lionel Messi will never come back.
“Lamine Yamal is probably the closest thing to him that I have seen so far.
“Messi has been more inclined toward collective play and creation, while Lamine seems more focused on individual confrontations and one-on-one situations to break down defenses.”
