Al-Nassr captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has reportedly contacted Real Madrid’s Spanish La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid over a move to Spain.

Ronaldo is keen on leaving Saudi Arabia, just months after joining Al-Nassr on a free transfer.

As per a report in El Nacional, the former Manchester United forward is not happy in the Middle East and is looking for an escape route.

The Portugal captain has decided that he wants to move back to Europe for off-pitch reasons and is eyeing Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid loaned out Joao Felix to Chelsea, and reports suggest the Premier League giants are open to keeping him permanently. Rojablancos also allowed Matheus Cunha to join Wolves and are now looking for forwards.

However, the report added that Ronaldo wants to take advantage of the situation and is pushing to join Atletico Madrid this summer.
