Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has spoken out following criticisms over his meetup with the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
In a lengthy post on his Twitter page, he explained that he didn’t intentionally leave his wife behind, as she has been busy with their triplets.
He expressed happiness spending time with the monarch, revealing that he drank water from his well of wisdom and doesn’t take it for granted.
He said that, from the warm welcome at the palace to the welcoming aura of Kabiesi himself, he still feels goosebumps. Expressing gratitude, he said he can’t believe that the little boy of yesterday is now dining with actual kings.

Right, it was great spending time with Kabiesi at the palace yesterday. Drinking water from his well of wisdom is part of what makes a man in life; I don’t take these moments for granted.
