Popular singer Davido has become the subject of controversy after prominent Tinubu supporter Dauda Rarara criticized him for wearing a jacket bearing the names of abducted Oyo school pupils and teachers during a World Cup performance.
Reacting to the gesture, Rarara described Davido’s actions as harmful to Nigeria’s image and accused the singer of portraying the country negatively before an international audience.
“Davido is a terrorist, what he did is treason, he exposed Nigeria to the world. It is unacceptable.”
