Nollywood actress-turned-preacher Eucharia Anunobi has won the hearts of many with her support for ailing colleague Ngozi Nwosu.
Newsunplug reported that in a heartbreaking post, Ngozi revealed she has been battling an unknown ailment and needs to undergo three surgeries that will cost her N30 million. She said making the announcement was hard for her, but she can’t keep quiet anymore. According to her, she needs urgent life-saving surgery.
The movie star, via her Instagram page, shared a video of her soliciting funds in church for Ngozi. According to her, while speaking as a guest speaker at the Divine Prayer and Prophetic Ministries in Asaba, she asked the congregation for support, and they did.
Eucharia said the church raised over a hundred thousand for Ngozi, which she has transferred to her account.
“In response to the plea of our legendary, veteran and iconic screen queen, auntie Ngozi Nwosu who is at the moment undergoing three surgeries fighting for her life @officialngozinwosu, who had acted as my mother in a couple of movies over the years, l implored members of DIVINE PRAYER AND PROPHETIC MINISTRIES INTL, ASABA DELTA STATE, where l was a guest speaker at their recently concluded conference to support and they did.
On counting the money, I realised it was not one hundred as I said in the video but one hundred and one thousand, four hundred Naira.
