Nigerian feminist and social commentator, Izzy, has broken down in tears while reacting to the arrest of an Anambra woman who was reportedly accused of abusing her child.
Izzy expressed deep concern over the alleged abuse, particularly the possible emotional and psychological impact it could have on the young child.
In an emotional reaction, the feminist lamented that the child could be left traumatised by the experience, suggesting that what happened may have a lasting effect on her.
“That baby is traumatized for life, she don join the gang,” Izzy said tearfully while reacting to the incident.
Her emotional response has drawn attention to the seriousness of alleged child abuse and the need for children exposed to such experiences to receive proper care, protection and support.
