A video showing a heated confrontation between two young shoppers and market traders has made the rounds on social media after a dispute over a “mini skirt” escalated into an exchange of insults.
The incident began when two young women visited a local market to purchase household cooking items. Several market women took issue with the attire worn by one of the shoppers—described as a pair of bum shorts—and began publicly shaming her.
Objecting to the harassment, the shopper’s friend intervened to defend her companion. The footage captures the young woman aggressively confronting the traders, at one point claiming the market women were acting out of resentment because they could not dress similarly in their youth.
Following the confrontation, the lady expressed regret over the incident, stating she feels disappointed in herself for addressing the older market women rudely.
