Shooting Stars technical adviser, Salisu Yusuf, has blamed his defenders for the 2-0 loss to Kun Khalifat.
Agor Chukwuma and Onuoha Uchechukwu were on target for Kun Khalifat at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Sunday.
Yusuf pointed out that his players defended poorly in the game.
He hinted on a total overhauling of the defence line during the mid-season transfer window.
“The opponents deserved to win the game because they defended very well,” Yusuf told Puyaka.
“If you look at our team, we defended poorly that’s why we lost the game.
“It was the team I met on ground and we have to look at changing the whole defence line because they can’t defend with everything only one or two.”
NEWSUNPLUG reports that Shooting Stars have managed only one win in eight matches this season.
