Arsenal legend, Paul Merson, has expressed worry that his old club cannot beat Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Bayern Munich will host Arsenal in the Champions League on Wednesday night at Allianz Arena.
Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the encounter, Merson questioned whether Mikel Arteta’s side can beat the Bundesliga giants in Germany.
“I just can’t see how they [Arsenal] beat Bayern Munich this week,” Merson said.
“If I was Bayern, I would just open the game up and just say you have a shot, we have a shot because there will only be one winner. Can Arsenal outscore teams?” Merson added.
