Celebrity interviewer Dunmininu has reacted to the backlash over his interview with the father of late singer Toluwanisings, Muniru Adekunle Olayemi.
Newsunplug reported hours ago that Dunmininu shared a video showing the dilapidated state of Toluwanisings’ father’s one-room house in Ikirun, Osun State.
He made an emotional appeal to the committee in charge of Toluwanisings’ burial, telling them not to forget his father as he is suffering. He also appealed to Nigerians to help him.
His post didn’t sit well with many who believed he was exploiting the vulnerable man.
Defending himself, he maintained that he wasn’t doing anything bad and appreciated the public for their criticism and insults.
“Thank you, my people; I am grateful to those that insulted us, Amen and to those who praised us, Amen. If we are doing the work of curses, let it be so; but if we’re doing good works, let it be so. I am not doing the work of curses”.
