Nollywood actress and political aspirant Doris Ogala is reportedly bleeding in detention.
According to social media reports online, the gubernatorial aspirant, who is currently on remand in police detention, is suffering from bleeding following an old surgical wound.
A document, which is making rounds online, showed her medical report from the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, dated 5 June 2026, which identifies her as a 30-year-old patient diagnosed with severe anaemia secondary to a submucous myoma, commonly known as a fibroid.
The document, which Dr Ifediora Arinze signed, stated that she was referred to the facility with prolonged personal bleeding, weakness, fever, and restlessness, and that her condition was traced to a myomectomy procedure she underwent on 2 April, 2025 at a private clinic.
According to the report, she was admitted, treated, and eventually discharged after significant improvement.
Her medical team advised her to avoid strenuous activity for six months and attend fortnightly follow-up appointments.
At the time the document was issued, Doris was listed as an outpatient.
