Former Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, has asked the presidential candidate of his party, Atiku Abubakar, to accept defeat in maturity and retire peacefully to Dubai.
In a Twitter thread, Fayose didn’t hide his ill-feeling towards the PDP which he is a member of. He pointed out that the party had gone into the elections divided and expected to win.
He stated that the PDP did not deem it fit to give its presidential ticket to Peter Obi and instead eased him out of the party, however, the same Obi has now “retired all of them.”
