Veteran Philippine actress, Nora Aunor is dead.
Nora Aunor died on Wednesday April 16 2025, at age 71.
Her daughter, Lotlot de Leon, who made the announcement in an Instagram post, did not disclose the cause of her death.
Lotlot de Leon; “Nora Aunor, It is with deep sorrow that we announce passing of our beloved mother, celebrated television and movie actress, and a true National Artist of the Philippines, Nora Aunor.
“Her funeral service details to follow. We thank everyone for their support and ask for continued prayers during this time of mourning”.
NEWSUNPLUG reports that Nora who became famous in the 1960s as a singer before transitioning into acting, was given Philippine biggest honour for actors “A National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts” in 2022.
