Nollywood actor and comedian Williams Uchemba has written a note to his wife, Oscars.
Sharing loved-up photos of them, he said that his wife has taught him how to love her better, not just with words, but through the way she has allowed him to lead. He noted how she honours him with respect and how she fights for peace and stability in their home, even on my worst days.
He said his wife has shown him that there’s a difference between a woman who wants to be married and a woman who desires to be a wife. Williams declared Oscars a true definition of a true wife.
The comic actor said he will never forget a moment during their first year of marriage when she told him that he only had to correct her once, and she wouldn’t repeat it again. He said that sentence left a mark on his soul, challenging, humbling, and making him want to be a better man for her.
The father of two appreciated her for giving him the two greatest gifts – his daughter and son. He appreciated her for the gift of becoming a father and a better husband.
“You’ve taught me how to love you better, not just with words, but through the way you’ve allowed me to lead, the way you honour me with respect, and how you fight for peace and stability in our home, even on my worst days.
You’ve shown me that there’s a world of difference between a woman who wants to be married and a woman who truly desires to be a wife. And you… You are the definition of a true wife.
I’ll never forget what you told me in our first year of marriage: you said, “You only have to correct me once, and I won’t repeat it again.” That one sentence left a lasting impression on my soul; it challenged me, humbled me, and made me want to be a better man for you.
Thank you for giving me the two greatest gifts, the gift of becoming a father and the gift of becoming a better husband. Thanks, Bru”.
