Nollywood actress and producer Bukky Amos-Bello has announced the passing of her father, Olaniyi Mofolorunsho Amos.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, she shared a photo of her late father and fondly recalled the memories they shared.
Bukky described him as her “forever ajitannawo” and praised him as the best father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
She expressed gratitude for his love and guidance, noting how much his presence shaped her life and career.
A promise fulfilled
Bukky revealed that her father had promised to live long enough to see her become a grandmother, a promise he honoured before his death.
She wrote, “The sparkles in your eyes when I gave you the news… Thank you for sharing your last moment with me. I’ll forever cherish those eyes that were wide open just for me.”
Bukky described her grief as deep but also spoke of the comfort she found in her father fulfilling all his promises.
A daughter’s farewell
In her post, she added, “Today, Monday, 6th Oct 2025 @8.25am, my clock stopped, my mirror was shattered, my first love, my forever love, my world, my supporter, my role model, babami… Sleep tight, Babami. O daaro babami Alamu… I will always love you.”
