Nollywood actress Ivie Okujaye has set social media abuzz after posting a touching video in which she showered praises on her mother-in-law.
In the clip, Ivie appeared alongside her husband’s mother while narrating how she has been a strong pillar of support in her marriage. The actress revealed that her mother-in-law always steps in whenever there’s tension between her and her husband.
“Every time my husband and I have an argument, I always win. Do you know why? As soon as my mother-in-law senses any tension, she calls him and says, ‘My son, your wife’s happiness is the home’s happiness. Please, please, please,’” Ivie disclosed.
She went on to highlight how much her mother-in-law has supported her since she got married.
“When I got married, I couldn’t cook. She said, ‘Don’t worry.’ Every week, she brings afang soup and efo riro. Whatever I need, this woman is there. She tells me, ‘All this exercise you’re doing, you look fine. Look at your belly, look at your legs. Dress up, let my son remember he married a fine woman,’” Ivie said.
Concluding the video, the actress described her husband’s mother as “the best mother-in-law ever.”
