#AFCON 2023: Super Eagles firmly focused on Cote d’Ivoire clash – Chukwueze

Samuel Chukwueze has said the Super Eagles are firmly focused on their final clash with the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire.

Jose Peseiro’s side will take on the hosts at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan, on Sunday.

The Super Eagles secured a place in the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations following a 4-2 penalty shootout win against South Africa.

Cote d’Ivoire defeated Democratic Republic of Congo 1-0 in their last four encounter.

“We are trying to recover and focus on the game on Sunday, the final against the host country.

“I believe in this team, we have been fighting from the start of the competition, it’s time to bring the trophy back home,” Chukwueze told the Super Eagles media.

“We have talked together as a group, we will keep working hard in training and ensure we will the trophy.”
