Cyriel Dessers is delighted with the chance to play for Nigeria in a major tournament, DAILY POST reports.
The Panathinaikos striker is part of Nigeria’s squad to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Dessers’ first nine games for the Super Eagles came in friendly matches.
The 31-year-old missed the 2026 FIFA World Cup African playoffs last month due to injury.
The striker said it’s a dream come true for him to be part of the squad for AFCON 2025.
“It’s been a dream for many years to go to a big tournament with the Super Eagles,” Dessers told Cali Sports.
